for me to have a relationship with my customers, they need to know a little of who i am and why i do what i do.
i've always had a liking for art. it started as drawing. i was always told to try painting and i just never had the desire. roughly 5 years ago, i went against that and picked up a canvas and some paints. my life has never been the same since. after creating that first piece of work, i had this confidence in myself that i've never had before. i had something i knew i could show off to other and be proud of.
i began painting daily, weekly, monthly. it started to just be a part of my daily life. it was really helping mold me into who i am today. painting to me isn't a gift, its not a bragging right. painting to me is something i am very thankful for because i get to share it with others. its something i can put down on a canvas, or on anything for that matter and let people in my mind by looking at my work. painting began to be my relief. it was my go to "therapy". after a long day, i couldn't wait to get home and paint. Whether being mad, and throwing down paint or being very concentrated and delicately placing each paint stroke - it was the one thing i knew i could do to feel at ease, and feel like the day was complete.
With the above said, i'm hoping that opened up a window for you to see a little bit of who i am and why i do what i do.
For those who have been by my side and have supported me along all of this, I thank you. without the encouraging words, i wouldn't be able to create what i do, and I definitely wouldn't be who i am today.
